#MyStory Student Contest on Choosing Abstinence

Ready to win?  “Everyone Has a Story Inside.  Let Yours Out!” is a contest sponsored by Early Choices.  Middle and high school students can submit entries highlighting the empowering aspects of abstinence and/or the consequences of not abstaining, such as unintended pregnancy or an STD. The three formats for entries include a one-minute video, artwork such as a painting or drawing; or, a written story, 500-750 words. Entries can be submitted August 14th – September 14th and the winners will be announced on September 15th.

Parenting Power Class March 29th!

“Raising Resilient Children, ” a free parenting workshop presented by Early Choices, will be held March 29th, 10 AM to 12 PM at the Early County Family Connection Office. The workshop features two primary areas of focus: raising resilient children and taking care of yourself as a parent at the same time, which is no easy feat!
