Talking About Tough Topics.  Communication is a two-way street, but talking with your children about sex, drinking, and prescription drugs in a way that builds trust and understanding isn’t easy.  Learn techniques to improve your conversation when tackling tough topics.

Early Choices’ Parenting Initiative is an effort to be a resource for local parents who have everyday concerns – and we all do!  Whether your child has special needs, or you’re a single parent, or you work two jobs, or just are curious how other parents out there handle these parenting struggles that we face – we think the best resources can be found in one another.

As well as the Facebook live sessions, we are holding parenting classes and posting blogs and articles about local Early County parents as well as some general articles giving advice on being the best parent you can be in today’s tough world.  Follow us on Facebook and check back here on our website – we can’t wait to get started!  Hang in there, parents – help is on the way!
